We’re very excited to introduce you to our 2018 Limited Edition Series. We’re calling it Gatski Galaxy. We will be creating one new 8″ square wall tile each month, with a celestial theme. You can collect several, or all of these tiles. We will be creating just 25 of each one, and they will be signed and numbered on the back.
One of the fun things about this series is the opportunity to learn about all sorts of things we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. From our galactic studies, we learned that there are two super-moons in January 2018! That’s special! So, I bet you can guess where we went with our first wall tile…. you got it.… the Super Moon! We’re very happy to introduce you to our first 2018 piece in the Gatski Galaxy!

Box Shelf Table
ArchivedWe made this side table from reclaimed steel and reclaimed barn wood. It is handmade by us here in our rural studio in Pennsylvania. We hand cut and welded each piece of steel together.
We created the base of the shelf from a wooden plank rescued from an old barn. The sides of the table are hand-painted with milk paint. Each piece will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences. The metal is sealed with a water-based enamel. Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Size: 28"h x 16"w x 11.5"dBeam Shelves
ArchivedThese unique beam shelves are a perfect compliment to your natural farm-style home. Candles, picture frames, or your favorite nick-nacks can be placed atop the beam shelves to decorate your home.
The beam shelves are made from reclaimed wood and metal, making a perfect eco-friendly piece of art. Each set of shelves will have unique variations.
Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Size: 30”h x 20”w x 6”d
Cricket
ArchivedThis piece was handmade by Ben Gatski in Pennsylvania. The metal we used is from weathered steel. We hand draw the pattern on the metal with soapstone and cut it with a hand held plasma cutter. We then hand hammer and weld it into shape. The blue was hand painted with milk paint.
The metal is sealed with a water-based enamel. Each man will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences. Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. If outdoors, you can maintain a shiny metal look [entirely optional] by applying a clear metal enamel, available in a spray can at your local hardware store.Goat Head
ArchivedWe made this charismatic goat head with reclaimed metal and wood. We hand draw the pattern on the metal with soapstone and cut it with a hand held plasma cutter. We then hand hammer and weld the head into shape. Finally, we attach it to a reclaimed corn planter disk. We cut the horns from a large block of wood and shape them by hand.
This goat head is sealed with a water-based enamel. Each head will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences. This head can easily be hung with a nail or screw. It’s weight is approximately 16 lbs Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Size: 22”h x 16”w x 14”d
