Fiona the Fish in Red

Darling of the waters, Fiona is a metal wall sculpture. Add texture and dimension to your eclectic gallery wall, or make a school of fish on your entryway wall. Fiona also makes a great husband gift.

This fish is handmade in rural Pennsylvania with reclaimed metal. Ben draws the pattern on the metal with soapstone, cuts it with a hand-held plasma cutter, and hand-shapes and arc welds it together.

Each piece will have its subtle differences; they are cut, hammered, and built by hand.

The color is hand-painted with milk paint, giving the piece a naturally uneven and textured finish.

A clear finish is applied to the entire piece.

There is a small hanger on the back, which you can use to easily hang this piece on a nail or a screw.
