Goose

A cue that the seasons are changing, migrating geese are a beautiful reminder of all things ephemeral. This tabletop sculpture is a tribute to the dear geese we always look up for. It would make a striking centerpiece for your table, or a fun addition to a porch table. The goose does turn, but was not created to spin in the wind. It is a cheerful, light-hearted art piece made to bring a smile.

The pattern is drawn on the metal with soapstone, cut with a hand-held plasma cutter, hand-shaped and arc welded together. Each piece will have its own subtle differences; they are cut, hammered, and built by hand.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. If outdoors, you can maintain a shiny look (optional) by applying a clear, metal enamel, available in a spray can at your local hardware store.

This piece can be placed inside or out.
