Warped & Welded is now showing at the Allen Art Gallery at Mansfield University. This is an exciting collaboration between my mother Rebecca Francis, a weaver of 30 years, and us. My mother’s rugs are handwoven on an 18th century loom. They are made with recycled corduroy pants. They are beautiful and durable. Rebecca just opened up an Etsy Shop, it is here.
It feels like coming full circle. I’m realizing my good fortune; being raised by someone who followed their creative passion and made it work. The road is a lot easier to travel when its paved.
