What have you learned from crazy lately?
Early on we set up at Brimfield one of the largest outdoor flea markets in eastern US. Our wild, hardscrabble neighbor screamed, “You Fool!” at anyone who didn’t stop into his booth. He also had a tattoo on the inside of his lip and you don’t even want to know what it said.
The experience was entertaining, memorable and educational.
We learned…
- flea markets might not be the best place for our work
- if this wild-man can make a living – so can we
- it’s always worth it – but it’s “more worth it” in the right place
What have you learned from a crazy experience?
Opportunities that don’t work out are gold mines for information. They will help you figure out what you can live with and what you can live without. And, this is how you make your plan. Crazy is a tool.
